STEEL SAFETY TOE
In 1995 OSHA began enforcing a new standard for personal protective equipment. As part of this standard employers now require ASTM F2413-18 rated safety footwear in areas where employees are exposed to injury as a result of falling or rolling objects. All steel toe boots with this icon meet or exceed ASTM F2413-18 I/C standards.ELECTRICAL HAZARD
The soles of EH shoes provide a barrier to protect employees from open electrical currents up to 600 volts. EH shoes are often needed in maintenance, welding and engineering positions. All styles marked with the “EH” icon in this catalog meet the ASTM F2413-18 EH standards.WATERPROOF
Waterproof boots and shoes are constructed to keep the feet dry and comfortable in wet conditions. Waterproof construction requires continuous maintenance and is not guaranteed to remain for the life of the shoe.SLIP RESISTANT
Slip resistant safety footwear is the fastest growing segment of the safety footwear industry. For many employers with wet, oily, and/or greasy floors, it is common sense to require slip resistant safety footwear. Slip related injuries can be extremely costly. No shoe is slip proof, however employers who require slip resistant shoes can reduce worker’s compensation claims.COMFORT
Saf-Gard carries several brands with unconditional 30-day comfort guarantees. These products give you 30 days to test for comfort. If you are not completely satisfied we will exchange it or process a refund. -

I purchased these boots because I liked the way they looked. Big mistake!! I've purchased many Wolverine boots without ever being let down! Well there's a first time for everything! First time i wore them inside the plant was ok until I went into the department with oil on the floor. I almost fell! They were very slippery!! One guy had to stop me from falling! I thought maybe its because there new and its the bottom still has the "new" on them. I've done everything to make them not slippery and it hasn't worked!. As the night progressed they had my feet hurting so bad I had to put my old boots on."Wolverine" of course! Immediately my feet started feeling better and no more slipping! I tried wearing them at home and around to get them broke in better before I wore them at work but I had so much discomfort from them I stopped trying! Never did I ever think I would have a "uncomfortable " experience with Wolverine boots but I did! Maybe a bad pair I got?

My favorite boot. I've used this boot 4 years in a row. Gave it a 4 star comfort rating because a work boot will never have a 5 star.
