Safety Features
COMPOSITE TOE / NANO TOE
Compared to their steel toe counterparts the composite toes are manufactured using lightweight materials to make the shoe weigh less while meeting ASTM standards. These shoes meet ASTM F2413-18 I/C standards.ELECTRICAL HAZARD
The soles of EH shoes provide a barrier to protect employees from open electrical currents up to 600 volts. EH shoes are often needed in maintenance, welding and engineering positions. All styles marked with the “EH” icon in this catalog meet the ASTM F2413-18 EH standards.WATERPROOF
Waterproof boots and shoes are constructed to keep the feet dry and comfortable in wet conditions. Waterproof construction requires continuous maintenance and is not guaranteed to remain for the life of the shoe.PUNCTURE RESISTANT
These shoes are designed to reduce the impact of sharp objects which are damaging to the foot. Puncture wounds can be hazardous to the midsole of the foot and the appropriate footwear is necessary on job sites where sharp objects can pierce the sole. These shoes meet ASTM F2413-18 PR standards.SLIP RESISTANT
Slip resistant safety footwear is the fastest growing segment of the safety footwear industry. For many employers with wet, oily, and/or greasy floors, it is common sense to require slip resistant safety footwear. Slip related injuries can be extremely costly. No shoe is slip proof, however employers who require slip resistant shoes can reduce worker’s compensation claims.Additional Features

I have used this boot for over a year they haven't fell apart yet, they are light weight and comfortable. They aren't meant for cold weather wore them on a very cold day and my feet were frozen and the sole of the boot got hard. So if you do get these boot don't wear them in the winter time.

Comfortable. True to size. Bad sewing. There’s a heavy duty sew line from top of the heel to the bottom. This sew line wore through many of my socks. Bad design. Or may have been just this particular one

Very comfortable and lightweight. I would buy them on my own if need be. On my third pair. Slips right on and off. Warm for the Spring, Fall and Winter months. Definitely recommend.

These boots were hot. I've never really had a problem with foot sweat, but these boots drenched my socks every day. Had to buy foot powder.
The sole on one of the two cracked after about 7 months of use. Still continued to use them for the rest of the year without the boot failing further. These weren't too uncomfortable, aside from the breathing issue.OverallComfortSlip ResistancesArch Support: Moderate arch supportSize: Felt true to sizeWidth: Felt true to widthVery warm

These boots are comfortable but they do not breathe well. I got these boots and within a month and through 3 different insoles. I thought maybe it was the socks I wore but no.

So I ordered this boot as it was in a wide with which is a plus for me and it conformed to all of the MTA's "Safety" standards for footwear. I unboxed them, slipped them on and they felt awesome from day 1. I didn't need to buy a Dr. Scholl's gel insert like I do with all the others because it's so amazingly comfortable! So far they have held up pretty well under weather conditions and are my daily go-to boots for work. They're very light, despite the bulky appearance and I am quite convinced that these are the best boots the MTA will allow us to have.

I ordered these at approx. 22:30, Oct 1, and received them on the 5th. As there were no reviews, I got them based on looks, and description. I must say, they look better than pictured, and they are soo light! Broke them in at home for 2 days, one of which rained hard. Feet stayed warm and dry, boot dried quickly afterwards. Super soft insole, didn't purchase my normal extra insole. Best transit boot to date. Can't wait to try some others.
